It appears Roy's music has been getting some exposure on BBC6: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01psk8f
I use "Radio Downloader" on my Windows box (http://www.nerdoftheherd.com/tools/radiodld/). The advantage of this is you can set it to automatically download the programmes you like, so I have my weekly "Freak Zone", "Sorry I Haven't A Clue", "Friday Night Comedy", "Radcliffe's folk show" and so on. There's currently a glitch with searching for programmes but the A-Z index works fine.
The third session of this radio extravaganza was a band called This Heat. I'd never heard of them but if you imagine sqeaky brakes on a rusty bicycle for about ten minutes, you won't be far off.
Thanks for the info, the tracks on this Hippodrome '74 performance, are also on the Heavy Crazy bootleg, a great recording that I listen to often. The Hippodrome, Golders Green, London, UK. 4th May, 1974.
Thanks Shaun, I thought they must have been but I couldn't find my copy to check if it there were any different ones in the radio broadcast.
