    Lucky!

I'm doing an interesting 'gig' this weekend - a friend is having a modern 'salon' and inviting creative friends (writers, musicians, artists etc) to come over and share their arts with each other. I shall be sitting there appreciating, drinking and hiding my lack of talent :blushing:

Next 'proper' gig out after that is 2:54 in Glasgow first week of April. They're kinda like the new Lush. To me, this is a good thing...

And I've just realized half the 14 gigs I've seen so far this year have involved Nick. No comment. :blushing:

They should have represented the UK at Eurovision this year but instead they'll be at the Borderline tomorrow night - Comus.............and I'll be there to see them.

I saw the Fall in Edinburgh about 4 years ago - caught them on an off night, wasn't really that into it (neither was MES I suspect!), but at least they finished the gig, unlike a more recent Edinburgh fiasco

    a gig or two

might as well put a few up at once, all are in London

TANGERINE DREAM - shepherds bush empire, 24th June
SONIC BOOM - the social, 25th June
THE SONICS - the forum, 3rd July
LAURA MARLING - royal albert hall, 7th July
MOON DUO - rough trade east, 16th July
JONATHAN WILSON - lexington, 18th July

The lexington is an excellent pub for gigs with a great range of beers & whiskies. If you're going, get a loyalty card from the bar for a discount on all drinks cos it ain't cheap.
