lmao @ this thread!! firstly, yes i dunk! and i think it should be law! and fav bix are pink wafers, but wouldnt ever dunk them as that would be just wrong! anything with choclit in is also great, except new jaffa cakes. amor mundi
This thread takes the biscuit... For me, it's bourbons, dunked in nice hot tea. I used to be addicted to Chocolate HobNobs but then one day suddenly didn't like them any more. Oh... the chocolate rich teas are pretty good also.
Do you work for Cadbury's then? Can we get some free samples to help with the taste tests!:biggrin: I love their plain chocolate fingers they brought back before Xmas.
Make Milk, Plain, White and Mint Fingers. Make sure you buy the 150g packs and not the 125g ones. No samples as this is my perk. Also make biscuits under the brands of Burtons, Maryland and Lyons and about 50% of all own label biscuits sold in supermarkets.
Burtons - Wagon Wheels! Now when I was a child I remember they used to come in open single wrappers, and, had a far better taste than they now do. Why? Did they change the recipe?
Shortbread - Walkers preferably, the whole pack if I'm not careful. At the moment "Tim Tams" are rather popular here (NZ) , as am I for passing them around (the girls). Tim Tams Never heard of a Tim Tam so did a quick Wiki on them - apparently they are like our 'Penguin biscuits' but have been developed in variations including Chewy Caramel, Mocha, Double Coat, Chilli Chocolate, Classic Dark Chocolate, Black Forest Fantasy, Creamy Truffle Temptation and the latest Choc Orange, as well as a range of special edition varieties. In September 2005, Arnott's (The maker's) launched Tim Tam Balls, a smaller spherical version of the biscuit. A special edition strawberry variety was released in September 2006 with a portion of sales to benefit a breast cancer charity. In 2004, Arnott's caused a controversy when they released a range of alcohol-flavoured varieties of their products, including Tia Maria Tim Tams. Suggestions were made that selling these biscuits in supermarkets was irresponsible as minors could get hold of the product. However, it would take several thousand Tim Tams for the alcohol to take effect. The Tim Tam Slam is the practice of biting off the opposing corners of a Tim Tam, and using the modified biscuit as a 'straw' to suck up a hot beverage (usually tea, coffee, hot chocolate, Milo, or liquor such as Irish Cream). Ideally, the inside of the biscuit should collapse but the outside should remain intact. Just before the biscuit falls apart, it is placed in the mouth. The thicker chocolate coating on the Double Coat Tim Tam offers a more stable structure to help ensure that the biscuit does not collapse prematurely - refrigerating them also helps to preseve the outside structure while allowing the inside of the biscuit (cookie) to melt. The Chewy Caramel variety also has an advantage for performing the Tim Tam Slam since the caramel centre helps to hold the biscuit together for a slightly longer time. The Arnott's company prefers the name Tim Tam Suck and ran an advertising campaign promoting it under this name. I am putting this forward as a suggestion for the Harper convention. I don't like biscuits but if pressed - a McVitie's digestive dunked in hot tea.

We used to buy chocolate covered Dundee biscuits at school they were pretty good, the ones that get the most hammering in our house are actually custard creams and jammie dodgers :w00t: I buy them for the kids honestly, oh and by the way my middle name is..
